We pros cannot afford to wait with baited breath for Adobe get off their asses and deal with a problem that impacts our ability to preform our jobs. C1’s file management isn’t as good as LRs, but at the moment it is a substantially faster app for doing what we need to do.Īdobe is at a critical point in LRs life cycle. I’ve actually just talked with the people at Phase One about the possibility of a special ‘Switch to Capture One’ promo period. Tablets and smart phone have their uses, but there is a reason us pros have power machines for our real work. Message to Adobe – an iPad is not a serious tool for editing or creation. Adobe has been so focused on expanding into gimicky mobile apps that it has lost its way. Which it obviously is not.Īdobe has yet to join the conversation on the serious performance issues they’ve introduced, and as the entire code for CC/6 has been rewritten, it’s not likely that we’ll see a real ‘fix’ in the near future. Why even mention the ‘free’ aspect of a bug fix? Is there ever such a thing as bug fix the customer needs to pay for? I don’t understand the emphasis here, unless it’s an attempt to make people think Adobe is actually handling the many and serious LR CC/6 issues properly.
